800 TEACHERS TRAINED AT 3 DAY TEACHER TRAINING WORKSHOP BY RC SATARA CAMP

Under the Teacher Support vertical of the T-E-A-C-H program, 800 teachers from the entire district of Satara attended and received training at the Teacher Training workshop organized by Rotary Club of Satara Camp. Inaugurated by PDG Swati Herkal, District Literacy Committee Chair, RID 3132, the workshop was very well supported by the Zilla Parishad of Satara.

The Zilla Parishad of Satara played a major role in ensuring that atleast 1 or 2 teachers from every 600 schools across district participate in the workshop.

The workshop was conducted for three days, each day focusing on separate topic of training with the objective to guide teachers for self-development and achieve improved class performance.

1st Day training Session: The teachers were provided training on inculcating various uses of digital tools while teaching. Further to that, the teachers were also trained on the use of digital interactive board which can be introduced in the classrooms that will lead in increasing of retention among students.

2nd Day training Session: The second session threw light on the ways of increasing enrollment and techniques of improving quality of teaching in government schools.

3rd Day training Session: The third session will be soon conducted. It will focus on various uses of teaching techniques through the use of Smartphones.

After the end of the 3rd session, all the participating teachers will be felicitated with an appreciation certificate.
