15,000 SCHOOLS TO BE DIGITALIZED UNDER RILM'S E-SHIKSHA PROJECT IN MADHYA PRADESH

Under the E-learning program of Rotary India Literacy Mission, E-shiksha project of digitizing 15,000 schools in Madhya Pradesh was launched on 18th and 19th of June,2019 at Khandwa and Ujjain. The launch program was attended by Vishwas Sahu Khargon, Chief General Manager, NTPC, Shekhar Mehta, Chairman - Rotary India Literacy Mission, Ravi Prakash Langer, Chairman of National E-learning Committee of RILM and other Rotarians & governtment officials.

For this project, Rotary India Literacy Mission (RILM) had entered into an agreement with Rajya Siksha Kendra (RSK), Government of Madhya Pradesh on previous to provide e-learning facility in 15,000 government schools of Madhya Pradesh. In 2,500 schools, where government had already installed hardware, RILM will install only software module mapped with state board curriculum. For the remaining 12,500 schools, RILM will install hardware comprised of 49 television and software module approved by State Education Center. Teacher training on effective use of hardware and software will be provided by RILM for 30,000 teachers, 2 from each school.
