A Happy transformation of School by RC Bhubaneswar Ekamra, RID 3262

Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Ekamra Kshetra,RID-3262 had adopted Government Primary School at village Chunakoli situated at the outskirt of Bhubaneswar. Established in the year 2004, the school catered to the educational needs of 100 marginalised children.

Similar to several rural government schools, even this school lacked basic infrastructure like gender specific toilets, lack of clean drinking water, due to non-availability of proper boundary wall cattles moved freely in and around the school premise.

Looking at the situation, RC Bhubaneswar Ekamra Kshetra decided to transform the school by providing gender specific toilets, water purifier for clean drinking water, school bags and books & furniture for setting up library. Apart from providing the aforementioned facilities, the club also provided sports material for school children, planted tree saplings and also established the boundary wall thus creating a safe environment for students.

After final transformation, the club handed over the project to the school authorities on 4th May 2021in presence of DG Saumya Ranjan Mishra, DLCC PDG Sibabrata Dash, Club President Dr. Bani Sengupta, and CLCC Dr. Smita Sinha.
