These children belong to the urban slum areas of Goregaon East, Mumbai. The parents are mostly migrants and work as daily wage labourers. The project is for a period of 24 months and had started from April, 2020.

These children belong to the slum areas of Kamarhati, Basudevpur-Shyamnagar, Barrckpore, in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. The parents are mostly daily wage labours. The project is for a period of 12 months and has started from February 2022.

CATHOLIC CHARITIES, JAMSHEDPUR

Catholic Charities, Jamshedpur is working with 750 ASHA KIRAN children at 30 centres in an effort to send these children back to school. These are tribal children who belong to very poor and marginalized communities of Potka, East Singbhum & Chota Nagra West Singbhum districts, Jharkhand. The communities do not have any regular employment or source of income. The project is for a period of 12 months and has started from August 2021.

COMMUNITY RESEARCH & SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION

CONSUMER UNITY & TRUST SOCIETY

Consumer Unity & Trust Society has successfully enrolled 400 ASHA KIRAN children at 10 centres in an effort to send these children back to school. These children belong to the slum areas from Bilwara & Banswara districts of Rajasthan. The parents are mostly migrants and work as daily wage labours. The project is for a period of 12 months starting from March 2022.

CRY - CHILD RIGHTS AND YOU

Child Rights & You (CRY) is successfully working with 1794 ASHA KIRAN children at 11 centres in an effort to send these children back to school. These children belong to the Baramulla & Bandipora areas of Jammu & Kashmir. The parents mostly work as daily wage labourers, artisans & farmers. The communities have no regular employment and are mostly involved in activities like carpet/shawl weaving, fishing etc. The project is for a period of 15 months and has started from February, 2021.

PARTICIPATORY ACTION FOR COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT

Participatory Action for Community Empowerment (PACE) has successfully enrolled 500 ASHA KIRAN children at 10 centres in an effort to send these children back to school. These children belong to Thakurdwara block of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Children of this block are highly vulnerable to becoming child labour, become victims of child marriage and get exposed to occupational hazards. The parents are engaged in agriculture, work in brick kilns, brass factories etc. The project is for a period of 12 months and has started from October 2021.

PRAYAS INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

PRAYAS Institute for Social Development is working with 350 ASHA KIRAN children at 5 centres in an effort to send these children back to school. These children belong to the slum areas of New Indira Nagar, Indira Nagar, Hashmabad, Bandlaguda areas of Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad, in the state of Telangana. The parents are mostly daily wage labours. The project is for a period of 12 months starting from February 2022.
