RILM partners with CRY (Child Rights and You) to cater to out-of-school children in Kashmir, under Asha Kiran Program

As a pandemic control measure, the Education Ministry of the Govt. of India urged states in India to conduct a door-to-door survey to identify out of school children, migrant students, and prepare an action plan to prevent increased drop-outs, to enable providing universal access, quality and equity in education.

On 20 January 2021, Rotary India Literacy Mission signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Child Rights and You; for an intervention to bring back drop outs, out-of-school and laggard children; back to school; under the Asha Kiran Program.

About 2,100 children will be benefited in the challenging territory of, #baramulla #Kashmir where by out of school children will be imparted bridge education and mainstreamed back to school , remedial courses given and child labour prevention will be emphasized on.

Secretary RILM, PDG Anirudha Roychowdhury signed the MoU .
